I was due to arrive at the Village Hotel by 3.30 pm but due to a lorry deciding to travel up the M6 on its side rather than it's wheels I arrived at 7.45 pm, by the time I checked in etc. I reached the bar around 8.30 pm, it was there I met some familiar faces from the late 60's crew, although it had been some 35 years since I last saw them it wasn't long before it seemed like yesterday, I think Mr Boddingtons had something to do with that.

I met everyone else recognising a lot from the web site photies, I was made very welcome by each and everyone and also praised and thanked for taking on the web site, but at this point I must point out that this site is here because of the work of Alan 'Dusty' Miller, I have just continued to steer it. I thank every one that came to Birkenhead and helped to make it, for me at least, a very good and memorable weekend.
